St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital's volunteer department plays a vital role in the day to day activities of the hospital. We provide our volunteers with orientation, training, free parking and lunch, and offer a variety of tasks.
St Andrew’s has around 40 dedicated volunteers, some of whom have been helping the hospital for more than 20 years. Volunteers assist with a range of crucial tasks including staffing the information desk in the main reception area, escorting patients to their rooms, helping with surgical admissions, flower care and administration support.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer or would like more information, please contact Cathy Cash, Volunteer Coordinator, on (07) 3834 4482 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Members of St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital’s Auxiliary have played an important role in the hospital for well over 50 years. Their fundraising efforts throughout the late 1940s and 1950s helped finance the initial construction of the hospital.
Today, not only do their activities result in significant financial donations to the hospital each year, but more importantly, their compassion and devotion to St Andrew’s embodies the spirit of ‘First Class Treatment’.
