St Andrew's is widely recognised within the medical community for hosting the highest quality medical education program for General Practitioners (GPs). The programs rely on the expertise of leading medical specialists to present the most up-to-date and relevant medical developments for their peers and associates.
St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital has been expanding its Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program since its inception in 1994 and has built a reputation as a leader in the field. In fact, recent surveys by independent research company, CM Research, indicate that the St Andrew's CPD Program is the most highly regarded amongst GPs throughout Queensland.
Our education program also assists GPs in fulfilling mandatory accreditation criteria set out by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

CPD 3 - Medical Series
We are excited to announce that in 2013, for the first time in Queensland, St Andrew's will be joined by the Wesley Hospital (UnitingCare Health) to present a medical education series that will set the benchmark for CPD training. The inaugural three-event series 'CPD 3' will address the priority learning areas for Australian GPs.
